Meal Buddy Planner privacy policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Meal Buddy Planner (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you visit mealbuddyplanner.com (the “Site”) and when you use the Meal Buddy Planner iPhone and iPad app (the “App”).

Meal Buddy Planner is an iPad notebook for the week’s meals, with a read-only iPhone menu. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not run advertising inside the App.

Meals and iCloud

Sign both devices into the same Apple Account and meals sync with iCloud. There is no Meal Buddy account. We do not operate our own servers for your meal plans, recipes, or shopping lists, and we cannot read your iCloud data.

If you send shopping items to Apple Reminders, those items go to the Reminders list you pick. Reminders is provided by Apple.

Purchases

Meal Buddy Pro is an optional subscription processed by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat to check subscription status so the App knows whether Pro is active, including for people who bought Meal Buddy Planner before it became free. RevenueCat and Apple process purchase receipts under their own privacy policies, linked to an anonymous ID rather than your name or email. We never receive your full payment card information.

What we do not collect

We do not:

• Create a Meal Buddy account on our servers.
• Collect analytics from the App.
• Sell or rent your personal information.
• Use your meals or shopping lists for advertising.

The Site

Basic server and security logs (for example, IP address, browser type, and the page requested) may be processed by our hosting provider to operate and protect the Site.

Your choices

You can edit or delete meals inside the App. Removing the App deletes local data unless it still exists in iCloud. Manage iCloud data in your iCloud settings.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll update the Last updated date above.
